The careful selection of materials for the interaction of the Schmidt-Kupplung components ensures a high performance potential for this compact coupling. High-quality coupling plates steel and particularly wear-resistant steel bolts in conjunction with coupling elements made of tempered steel featuring high tensile strength – a combination that ensures that the all-metal coupling is precisely designed for high torsional stiffness and high torque transmission.
The required torque requirements and power density of the coupling can be precisely tailored to your needs by adjusting the number of coupling bolts/links for each coupling size.
Nominal torques in series up to 6.600 Nm, up to 100.000 Nm achieved
The Schmidt-Kupplung coupling covers a wide torque range. This enables the torsionally stiff couplings to be used in numerous different application fields, from roll feeds and coating systems through to heavy-duty applications, e.g. in material forming.
The all-metal coupling series spectrum covers a nominal torque range of up to 6,600 Nm. Apart from this series, SCHMIDT-KUPPLUNG has already implemented coupling sizes in a nominal torque range of up to 100,000 Nm.
